Unexpected SNOWprise...

oh..I crack myself up...

Today, we are having some very fun snow! FINALLY! Unfortunately, I have yet to buy Savannah any cold weather gear because I didn't want to waste the money and then have her grow out of it before she wore it....so we improvised. And, because we improvised, I didn't want her out in the grass, so we played on the deck, which was perfect. She loved it! This is really the first snow she has played in. We had some right when she turned one, but she just sat in it very confused. I hope you enjoy the pics!

First look at the snow!

Parker saw his first snow today! He was a little confused at the flakes falling in his face. Big sister Savannah is trying to explain how to play with it!

Here, she is helping mommy "build" the snowman.

And...of course...George was involved!

Our AWESOME little snowman...thanks Kristen, for the great snowman kit!

Proud snowman builder, Savannah.

3 Months!

I am so overwhelmed with pictures from Christmas, I decided to do this blog first...I'll get to finishing my Christmas blog eventually!

Parker was three months old yesterday! He has grown so much. He weighs 16 pounds already! He is cooing a ton, laughing, and holding himself up really well. He is a VERY happy baby and only really fusses when he is hungry, poopy, or tired! He is sleeping about eight consecutive hours a night, but around 11 total. He usually gets up once around 7 to eat and then down again for three hours! He is really starting to LOVE his big sister and is very entertained by her. He smiles at her and loves her attention. This is a far cry from a couple of months ago, where he would cry when she even walked in the room. And the best news is...he loves his mommy and daddy a lot. It is so cute. He loves looking at brent and "talking" to him. It is just fun to see him look at us and recognize us and show it with a big smile or laugh. Oh man...he is so sweet! Here are a couple of pictures we took yesterday, on his three month "birthday."

Here are a couple of pictures of Parker over the past month.

Parker loves playing in his exersaucer!

Sweet sailor boy!

Learning to sit in his bumbo chair!

15 pounds in 16 weeks!!

Wahoo...off to a good start. I have lost two pounds this week. Last week, I cut out fries! This week....sweets! YIKES! However....I did get a slice of cake yesterday for my birthday! So..after then, no sweets. Well...I shouldn't say none, because I have allowed myself one "snack sized" piece of chocolate a day. Also, my friend Ben got me a Starbucks gift card for my birthday and I definitely plan on drinking a couple of hot chocolates in the next few weeks...so..it is a flexible rule..

Not sure how much Brent lost...he didn't weigh himself!

Alright! That's that...how is everyone else doing?

PS-I plan on posting some more posts today or tomorrow of Christmas..finally..and of Parker's 3 months..YES THREE MONTH...photos! ok...bye bye!

17 pounds in 17 weeks!

Brent and I have challenged each other to lose 17 pounds over the next 17 weeks! Why 17, you ask? My brother is getting married in exactly 17 weeks from today! We want to be the hottest couple, aside from the bride and groom, at the wedding! LOL...

The fun part is, we get prizes. If we make it to our goal by the wedding, then we each get an entire day away from home to do whatever we want...alone or with our friends...and away from the kids. Then, as an added bonus, whoever makes it to their goal first, gets $100 to spend freely!

I am going to update our status on the blog for fun. I know you probably won't care, but it will hold me even more accountable.

Anyone want to do the challenge with us? Try and see if you can beat us out as the hottest people at the wedding!!! hehe...

Warning: Naked Bathing Babies

I am breaking up the Christmas post because I couldn't wait to show off these two cute babies having fun in their first bath together! They were so cute and I can't wait for many more bath times to come!! Enjoy!

Sweet babies!

Parker is very interested on how Savannah is going to catch this fish.

The post of all posts-Part I

So....it has been a long while since I last posted, and what a wonderful and busy couple of weeks it has been. Since I last posted, we have been to Georgia and Tennessee and back home. Our holidays started out with a bang. On Christmas Eve, the four of us went to the National Harbor and saw Santa water skiing! He was accompanied by some elves, the snowman, the Grinch, and some reindeer. Here are some pictures from that day. It is important to note that it was about 40 degrees that day and the water was frigid.

After that, we spent a quiet evening at home and Savannah did a Christmas tree craft. She had so much fun.

Here is a photo of our tree before Santa came.

After Savannah AND Parker went to bed, we got the Santa toys ready. It was a long night! Here is Savannah's loot.

Savannah always wakes up and comes straight to our room in the mornings. So, after I fed Parker and got us together, we brought her downstairs. Here are some pictures from Christmas morning.

Savannah, Daddy, and Parker coming down to see what Santa brought.

"What is this!?!?!"

Learning to paint!

More stocking stuffers!

Daddy teaching Savannah how to "chalk."

I got some great gifts to help me relax including this cool mask.

Brent loves his new panini maker.....

...but loves the home theater system..and Chloe..and little more!

Parker on Christmas morning...and 2 months old!!

We then had a busy day playing with all of our toys. That night, I tried to take a picture of the kids in their Christmas outfits. It was VERY unsuccessful. Here is the best shot of the night.

**I started this blog last Monday, Jan. 5....and still have so much more to write...so...this is part one. I will work on the rest and send it in segments! Enjoy!
